Q&A

What does it cost?

When you choose to let me book your next travel adventure, most* bookings, including Disney, Universal Studios, cruises, vacation packages, resorts, group tours and many hotel & activity bookings, cost only the price of the travel booked. There is no fee.

So how do you make money?

Many travel industry companies automatically include a commission fee in the price you see. When someone books directly, the company simply keeps the commission. When a travel advisor books your travel they receive that commission instead.

You said most bookings don't cost, what are the exceptions?

There are a few. Many airlines, Airbnb and online travel agencies like Booking.com do not offer commissions. In those cases if you'd like me to book for you or provide you with exact booking details, a planning fee may apply. A planning fee may also apply if extensive research or planning is needed.

Anything else I should know about cost or fees?

Travel advisors only receive commissions if they book the travel for the client. If a client requests quotes, advice or information, and then chooses to take that information and book themselves, the advisor receives no compensation for their time, knowledge or research. For this reason, I may request a small deposit on more time-consuming inquiries. This will be refunded if I book travel for you.

What are the benefits of a Travel Advisor?

The biggest benefit of booking through an advisor is their knowledge and expertise gained from their personal travel, travel industy trainings, and insider network. The second biggest benefit is the time and hassle it saves you. For example, if you google "Cancun vacation packages" there are approximately 26 million results. Who has time to sort through that!? Additionlly booking with an advisor gives you a personal resource to ensure you have a magical trip. Someone to answer questions, help you plan, provide support, offer advice, and provide personalized recommendations. Travel advisors also make it easier to alter or change bookings, handle customer support issues or have special requests fulfilled.

Can you book current deals and promotions?

Yes. Any current deals or promotions that are available can be booked with an advisor.

What Disney options can you book?

Vacations packages to Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris tickets, tickets to events such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Oogie Boogie Bash, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood nights. After hour parties at Walt Disney World, Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts, Disney Cruise line cruises, Aulani resort, Adventure by Disney and National Geographic Trips. Tickets for Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland (when available).

What else can you book?

In addition to Disney, I can book a wide variety of travel. Universal Studios tickets, resorts & vacation packages, Sea World tickets & packages. Vacation packages with Southwest Airlines, United, Delta, FunJet, Apple and more. Guided or group tour through companies like Globus, G-Adventures, Intrepid, Trafalger and and dozens of others. Thousands of hotels and resorts for domestic and international destinations, including popular hotel chains like Marriott and IHG as well as local owened properties, and many VRBO homes. Rental cars, activities, tours and attractions. Cruises on major cruise lines including (but not limited to) Disney, Norwegian, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess and Oceania, and so much more.

Is there anything you can't book?

Not really. There are a few things that are more complex, or that are best booked directly by clients. However, in those cases I'm happy to do the legwork, providing you exact details of what and how to book. (This may incure a planning fee)

How much can you help with Disney planning?

Planning a trip to Disney is absolutely magical. However it can also be overwhelming. The Disney parks are always changing and evolving, new and exciting experiences are added, technology and systems are updated, and the demand for Disney continues to rise. The best way to ensure a truly magical experience is to be prepared. Advance dining reservations, dining options, wait times, park reservations, lightning lanes, charater experiences, character dining, photopass or memory maker, parking, transportation and so much more go into making a magical trip. And I'm here to help. I can book dining reservations, pre-book lightening lanes, help you navigate the app and understand the multitude of options and offerings, as well as give personalized planning advice to ensure you make the most of every moment of your trip.

What if I don't need help with planning?

That's totally okay. As your travel advisor I can be as involved (or not) as you need. If you already know exactly what you want that's great, I'm happy to simply book things and hand you the reins. You'll still benefit from having someone in your corner, just in case.

What if I have no idea what type of trip or destination I want?

That's okay too. Whether you can't decide between places or aren't sure what type of trip you want, I'm here to help. I'd be happy to provide you with some ideas, options, and comparisons. We can work together to find the perfect fit so you have a magical vacation!
